Record a familiar voice, press a large colorful button and make communication part of everyday together time. Each round record-and-playback button in this range offers approximately 30 seconds of audio, making it useful for sound matching, choice-making, familiar greetings and playful short prompts.

For autistic children and AAC-supported communication

These buttons can serve as optional single-message cues when a parent wants to model a word during play. They are not a replacement for a child's primary AAC system or a therapy product. The best session feels like a game, not a test.

A parent-guided bubbles game

  1. Record 'more bubbles' on one button and 'all done' on another.
  2. Demonstrate pressing 'more' once, then blow a few bubbles.
  3. Pause and let the child choose whether to look, gesture, use their AAC system or press a button.
  4. Respond naturally to the message; allow the child to finish without needing to press anything.
  5. Repeat only as long as the child is enjoying the game.

For dementia and senior memory-care activities

Invite a family member to record a short warm message, a familiar name or a greeting. A caregiver can put the button near a family photo or a favorite object. Sit together, play the message once and allow the person to respond in any way that feels comfortable. Use familiar, respectful language, and stop if the recording causes confusion.

A three-step reminiscence activity

  1. Choose an image of a family garden, holiday or pet.
  2. Record a calm line such as 'This is our old garden'.
  3. Look at the photo together, press the button if invited and enjoy the story without correcting forgotten details.

Classroom and family play

Use multiple colors to assign greeting roles, sequence a short story, sort animal sounds, match picture cards with recordings, or take turns hearing 'my turn' and 'your turn'. Teachers may prepare sound buttons for different activities or learning stations.
