Kinmilo Adjustable Bed & Wheelchair Positioning Support Belt – Professional Care Assessment Required

Adjustable positioning strap — care setting assessment required

This teal fabric positioning belt has adjustable dark straps and buckle attachments. The supplied demonstrations depict use around a person at the bedside or in a wheelchair. Appropriate use depends on the care setting, intended product classification, verified instructions and an individualized professional assessment.

Important use limitations

This item must not be used to restrain someone against their will, replace supervision, prevent falls, or substitute for a properly designed wheelchair seat belt or clinical positioning device. Never apply a strap that could compromise breathing, circulation, skin integrity, evacuation, transfers or freedom of movement. In dementia care, an ill-fitted positioning belt may increase distress or injury.

Kinmilo Together Time: person-centered care

Before any use, ask the intended user and care professional about mobility goals and acceptable, less-restrictive alternatives. Any positioning support should be used only with verified manufacturer instructions and a trained caregiver. Do not leave a person unattended while secured.
