Kinmilo Together Time: A Parent–Child Play Plan
Play Together. Grow Together.
1. Connect & Demonstrate
Pick three counters and place them one by one: “One, two, three.” Point to the number 3. Invite your child to copy the action or point to the matching number.
2. Share the Play
Roll the die or choose a number together. Take turns moving a game token, counting out loud or using fingers or AAC number symbols. Say “my turn,” “your turn,” “one more” and “finished.”
3. Grow Together
Build a simple addition story using two groups of coloured counters. Later try matching number sequences, reading a vehicle path and making a house from counting sticks.
Adjustments for Different Learning Needs
ADHD: use one small turn or mini-task before an active break. ASD: establish a predictable game sequence with a visual first–then card. Developmental or intellectual disabilities: start with numbers 1–3 and physical counters before printed symbols. Speech/language differences: accept finger counting, pointing or AAC selections. The kit provides practice opportunities, not medical treatment.
Safety, Materials & FAQ

Is it Montessori or Waldorf inspired?

Is this for children who cannot yet do arithmetic?
Yes. Start with grouping, matching, sorting and naming colours before introducing sums.
