Kinmilo Together Time: A Parent–Child Play Plan
Play Together. Grow Together.
1. Connect & Demonstrate
Select one activity card and two magnetic pieces. Say, “I see a head. Here is the head.” Place the piece slowly while pointing to the matching picture. Invite the child to select the next piece.
2. Share the Play
Take turns adding one picture to the case. Ask “What comes next?” Offer two choices and accept a point, sign, eye gaze, word or AAC selection. Use prompts such as “my turn,” “your turn,” “help” and “more.”
3. Grow Together
After a simple picture is complete, invite your child to explain or point to what changed. For the Human Body edition, use everyday vocabulary like arm, leg or shoe; for Vehicles, tell a short rescue story and arrange the pieces in sequence.
Tailor Play for ADHD, ASD and Developmental Differences
ADHD / high activity: complete just one picture or two pieces before an active break. Autism: let the child choose a preferred theme, repeat a familiar example and do not force speech or eye contact. Developmental or intellectual disabilities: start with two highly contrasting picture options, repeat successful matches and expand gradually. Communication differences: provide AAC choices, signs and visual first–then cues. These adaptations make participation accessible; they are not therapeutic or diagnostic claims.
Materials & Safety
Fold-out learning case, magnetic picture pieces and themed cards illustrated in the selected option. Adult supervision recommended; keep small magnetic components away from children who mouth loose pieces, and remove damaged pieces from use. Store all pieces in the case after play. Kinmilo documentation includes CPC and CE test reports.
