Kinmilo Together Time: A Parent–Child Play Plan
Play Together. Grow Together. Share the experience at your child’s pace; no correct speed or spoken response is required.
Connect & demonstrate
Build a simple house with one block and one roof. Say: “I put the roof on top. Can you put yours beside mine?”
Share the play
Take turns adding one block to a shared structure. Ask: “Should we make a bridge or a tower?” and follow the child's choice.
Grow together
Introduce a build-from-picture challenge, count blocks in a tower or try making two structures of different heights.
Inclusive ways to adapt the activity
For ADHD or high activity levels
Set a small goal such as building one bridge and allow rebuilding after it falls.
For autistic children (ASD)
Start from a familiar two-piece building model and tell the child before rearranging their creation.
For developmental delay, intellectual disability or motor differences
Use broad stable blocks on a firm surface before narrow cylinders or more difficult balancing arrangements.
For children who use AAC, gestures or non-spoken communication
Offer picture choices for house, tower, bridge, more and stop; encourage shared storytelling in any communication mode.
Family tips and safety
Use on a stable surface with adult supervision. Avoid tall constructions that may fall onto children.
Product compliance: CPC and CE testing/certification documentation is available for this product. Always follow the age guidance on product packaging. Activities provide opportunities for exploration and shared learning; they are not medical treatments or guaranteed therapeutic outcomes.
