Kinmilo Six-Sided Sensory Activity Cube | Spin, Slide & Explore
Kinmilo Six-Sided Sensory Activity Cube | Spin, Slide & Explore
Six sides of discovery in one compact activity cube
Introduce curious little hands to cause-and-effect play. Each side of this soft-coloured, multi-activity cube presents a different interaction, including turning a flower, moving sliders, exploring rotating parts and manipulating small play mechanisms. Shared adult demonstration turns each action into a conversation.
Kinmilo Together Time: A Parent–Child Play Plan
1. Connect & demonstrate
Choose one side and keep the cube steady. Move the flower gently and say, “Turn, turn, stop!” Pause so your child can watch, follow with their eyes, reach, point or imitate.
2. Share the play
Let the child select the next face, then take turns moving one part. Use clear words like “push,” “pull,” “turn,” “open,” “again” and “finished.” Accept gestures, gaze direction, signs and AAC selections as valid communication.
3. Grow together
Make a simple two-action sequence — turn the flower, then slide the switch. Invite the child to choose a favourite side or play a short “copy my action” game. Revisit one familiar movement before exploring a new mechanism.
Flexible support for diverse abilities
Active or ADHD learners: introduce one side at a time and use short action-turns. ASD / autistic learners: let children preview each mechanism, keep an orderly sequence and give warning before moving the cube. Developmental or motor differences: stabilise the cube, use one accessible side, give extra time and offer hand support only when welcome. Language differences: reinforce action words with gestures or AAC symbols.
