Kinmilo Together Time: A Parent–Child Play Plan
Play Together. Grow Together. This guided activity offers opportunities to practise, connect and explore at the child's pace; it is not a treatment or guaranteed developmental outcome.
1. Connect & Demonstrate
Hold up two differently sized square frames and say, “Big square, small square. Which one fits inside?” Demonstrate nesting one piece without rushing.
2. Share the Play
Build a tower by taking turns adding one square; invite your child to tell you which colour or size to use next.
3. Grow Together
Start with a simple two-square nest, copy a beginner picture card, then build an increasingly tall or more complex structure from the cards.
Adapt the Play to Your Child
ADHD & High Activity Levels
Use a ‘build one tower’ challenge with a short finish and optional movement break.
Autism Spectrum (ASD) & Sensory Preferences
Begin with predictable size ordering and show a finished model before trying card-based puzzles.
Developmental Delay & Intellectual Disabilities
Use a limited number of easy-to-grasp square frames and build together on a stable surface.
Communication Differences & AAC
Offer big/small, colour, “next”, “help”, “my turn” and “done” as picture or gesture choices.

Parent Tips & Safety
Keep play relaxed, model rather than quiz, and welcome every attempt. Avoid forcing touch or eye contact. Adult supervision is required; small parts may present a choking hazard. Follow the age and safety information on the actual package. Store all pieces together after use.
CPC & CE Documentation
Kinmilo maintains CPC and CE product documentation; contact our team for documentation relevant to your selected set. Product-specific age, safety and conformity information should be checked against the supplied packaging and documents before purchase.
