Kinmilo Together Time: A Parent–Child Play Plan
1. Connect and demonstrate
Place one carrot near its hole. Say 'Pull ... and put it back' while slowly demonstrating.
2. Share the play
Take turns picking a carrot, posting a coloured ball, or placing a matching shape. Give a clear choice between two actions.
3. Grow together
Try 'First red carrot, then blue ball', count the harvested pieces or create a tiny pretend market story.
Adapt for different learners
ADHD and high activity levels: use short two-to-four-minute rounds, a clear end point and optional movement breaks. Autism and sensory differences: allow exploratory time first, keep a predictable first-then sequence and reduce sound or visual demands when helpful. Developmental delay or intellectual disability: demonstrate one movement at a time, simplify choices and allow extra response time. Motor differences: stabilise the board and adapt the grip without forcing hand movements. Communication differences: invite gestures, pictures, pointing and AAC; spoken responses and eye contact are not required.
Safety and family FAQ
Supervise all sessions. Check pieces, choking hazards and the recommended age for the exact edition; keep small parts away from children who mouth objects. CPC and CE testing documentation can be requested for this product range, subject to the matching model and market. These games offer opportunities to practise and connect; they do not diagnose, treat or cure a disability.
Montessori-inspired? Yes: hands-on choice, repetition and self-directed exploration. Waldorf-inspired? Families can add stories, rhythm and imaginative open-ended play. Must my child finish each stage? No: choose a comfortable pace and repeat favourite steps.
