Play Together. Grow Together.

Build a cheerful tower of colorful wooden cylinders on a bird-shaped rocking base. Children practice careful placement, observing balance and shared turn-taking as the shape gently shifts.

Kinmilo turns simple Montessori-inspired materials into meaningful shared play. This activity offers opportunities to practice fine-motor, balance & cause-and-effect, color matching, turn-taking at a pace that fits your learner.

What's Included & Activity Format

Bird-shaped rocking base and colorful wooden cylinder blocks as pictured. Small-piece handling requires close adult supervision.

Kinmilo Together Time: A Parent–Child Play Plan

1. Connect & Demonstrate

Place one cylinder on the bird base and pause. Say: “It stays! Shall we try one more?” Invite the child to choose the next color.

2. Share the Play

Each player adds one cylinder, making a simple two-person turn-taking game. Stop and observe when the bird tilts instead of rushing to fix it.

3. Grow Together

Challenge your child to make a balanced color pattern, rebuild a fallen tower, or compare which arrangement stays steady.

Adapt the Play to Your Child

  • For ADHD and high activity levels: Use a mini-goal of three pieces and then a reset, with an optional movement break after each round.
  • For autistic learners (ASD): Begin with a stable low arrangement and a repeated sequence of colors; let the child choose when to increase challenge.
  • For developmental, learning, speech or motor differences: Stabilize the base gently if needed, offer a choice between two large pieces, and accept assisted placement.
  • AAC & alternative communication: Offer picture cards, pointing, eye gaze, gestures or a communication device as equally valid choices. Do not require speech or eye contact to participate.

Why Parent–Child Play Matters

Try a predictable 5–10 minute shared session, model first, invite a choice, wait for a response and praise the effort rather than speed or a perfect result. Families supporting ADHD, autism, intellectual or developmental disabilities can simplify a task, repeat a favorite activity, and build from interests without comparison or pressure. These are practice opportunities, not a promise of therapeutic or medical outcomes.

Safety & Product Information

Use under appropriate adult supervision. Keep loose parts away from children who mouth objects and follow the age and small-parts guidance on the product packaging. Check pieces and cords before use, and stop if anything is damaged. CPC and CE test documentation is available for the product range; request the documentation matching your model when needed. Exact colors, card assortments and dimensions follow the selected set.
