Play Together. Grow Together.

Bright wooden cubes and illustrated challenge cards make three-dimensional building feel like a game. Children can copy a simple color pattern, build towers, or explore front, side and top views together with a parent.

Kinmilo turns simple Montessori-inspired materials into meaningful shared play. This activity offers opportunities to practice spatial reasoning, visual attention, pattern matching, fine-motor at a pace that fits your learner.

What's Included & Activity Format

Colored wooden cubes and printed 3D-building challenge cards as pictured; exact card count follows the selected set.

Kinmilo Together Time: A Parent–Child Play Plan

1. Connect & Demonstrate

Put out four cubes and build a two-cube tower. Say: “Red on the bottom, blue on top. Can you make one like mine?”

2. Share the Play

One person builds a shape while the other chooses matching cubes; then switch roles. Use shared words or AAC symbols for colors, top, next to and under.

3. Grow Together

Introduce the printed challenge cards, compare the model from the front and side, and let the child test or redesign a construction.

Adapt the Play to Your Child

  • For ADHD and high activity levels: Start with just four to six cubes and one card; turn the completed model into a quick photo reward or tidy-up game.
  • For autistic learners (ASD): Sort cubes by color first, show a completed model, and make changes one step at a time.
  • For developmental, learning, speech or motor differences: Work on a tray or nonslip surface, begin with large simple patterns, and accept a color choice or one placed cube as participation.
  • AAC & alternative communication: Offer picture cards, pointing, eye gaze, gestures or a communication device as equally valid choices. Do not require speech or eye contact to participate.

Why Parent–Child Play Matters

Try a predictable 5–10 minute shared session, model first, invite a choice, wait for a response and praise the effort rather than speed or a perfect result. Families supporting ADHD, autism, intellectual or developmental disabilities can simplify a task, repeat a favorite activity, and build from interests without comparison or pressure. These are practice opportunities, not a promise of therapeutic or medical outcomes.

Safety & Product Information

Use under appropriate adult supervision. Keep loose parts away from children who mouth objects and follow the age and small-parts guidance on the product packaging. Check pieces and cords before use, and stop if anything is damaged. CPC and CE test documentation is available for the product range; request the documentation matching your model when needed. Exact colors, card assortments and dimensions follow the selected set.
