Play Together. Grow Together.
An illustrated wooden math workstation combining two movable hand models, three colours of counting balls, number and operation tiles, picture task cards and small handling tools. Children can see a quantity, build it with objects and explain it using fingers, pictures or speech.
What's included & what children can explore
two hand-shaped counting aids; coloured counting balls and wells; number and maths symbol tiles; visual challenge cards; handling tools. Play opportunities: number sense, visual counting, turn-taking, hand–eye coordination.
Kinmilo Together Time: A Parent–Child Play Plan
- 1. Connect & demonstrate: Place two red balls in one row and show two fingers. Say, “Two. Can you show two your way?” Accept pointing or an AAC response.
- 2. Share the play: Take turns placing counters and choosing +, − and = tiles. Say, “I have three. You add one. How many now?”
- 3. Grow together: Show a number decomposition card and invite the child to build the answer using two colours, then check with the fingers or tiles.
Adapt the play to your child
ADHD / high activity: Set one small goal, keep steps brief, offer movement breaks and praise participation rather than speed. Autism / ASD: Use visual examples, a consistent start-and-finish routine and optional sensory breaks. Developmental or intellectual disability: Break down the action, model it slowly and repeat without pressure. AAC / speech and language differences: Accept looking, reaching, gestures, signs, picture cards and communication devices as full participation.
Product-specific adjustment: Use one colour and one operation at a time for shorter attention spans; cover unused counters for children who prefer a lower visual load.
For parents, carers & educators
Enjoy the activity together; let the child choose a level of support and give extra time to respond. Montessori-inspired hands-on discovery and Waldorf-inspired imaginative or sensory play can both be adapted to the child's interests. Suitable learning opportunities vary by individual; this is play and learning material, not a medical treatment, diagnostic tool or promise of improved symptoms.
Safety & documentation
Use manipulatives with adult supervision. Remove loose pieces from reach of children who mouth objects. Follow age labels, check pieces for damage and supervise use. CPC and CE documentation is available according to the brand's supplied product compliance records; request the documentation relevant to the selected variant and market if needed.
