How Families Can Play
- Color detective: start with two gem colors. Ask your child to locate a matching window or create an alternating pattern.
- Stack a sparkling tower: use a few blocks to copy a short model, then let your child invent a taller sculpture.
- Quiet visual exploration: place a block beside a window in natural daylight and talk about changes in color and reflection. Do not stare at strong light or use small separate gems.
- Memory and turn-taking: arrange three colors, briefly cover them, then invite the child to name, point to or select the same sequence.
Inclusive Caregiver Activities
For autistic children, start with a consistent setup and a preferred color; for children with ADHD, offer short two-minute pattern challenges with a movement break; for developmental delay or intellectual disabilities, simplify the sequence to two blocks and celebrate each successful attempt; for sensory seekers, explore the reflective windows at the child's preferred pace. Adapt the activity to each child's abilities and preferences.
