A world of hands-on discoveries on every side

The Kinmilo Wooden Multi-Activity Exploration Cube brings several play opportunities together in one sturdy wooden station. The pictured set includes a raised bead-wire maze, playful windmill, sliding animal tracks and colourful hands-on panels. Rotate the cube to discover a fresh activity without switching toys.

Kinmilo Together Time: A Parent–Child Play Plan

Play Together. Grow Together. Try a relaxed 3–5 minute shared activity, adapting it to your child's interests and comfort.

  1. 1. Connect & demonstrate: Invite your child to explore one cube panel at a time. Trace a bead along the wire or move one sliding animal while saying, “Look, it moved!”
  2. 2. Share the play: Take turns moving a bead, sliding a figure or gently turning the windmill. Pause and let your child choose which panel to explore next.
  3. 3. Grow together: Play a simple two-step sequence: move a bead, then spin the windmill. Invite the child to invent the sequence for you to copy.

Inclusive play adjustments for different learning needs

For children with ADHD, explore one panel and then take a movement break. For autism or developmental differences, repeat a favourite action with clear start and finish cues. Let the child communicate by pointing or AAC and supervise moving parts.

Parent tip: Celebrate engagement and shared choices rather than speed or correctness. Activities offer opportunities to practise communication, attention and everyday skills; they are not medical treatments or guarantees of developmental progress.

Five parent-child activities

  1. Follow a bead: show how to move one bead around the wire path and invite your child to copy at a relaxed pace.
  2. Find the animal: name a familiar animal, invite a pointing response and slide its piece along the track.
  3. Take turns: parent turns the windmill once, child tries next, then both say “again” or use an AAC picture.
  4. Make a sequence: use “first bead, then windmill” supported by two pictures or gestures.
  5. Introduce pretend stories: talk about the little farm, animals, weather and transport while exploring each side.

Adapted play ideas

ADHD and active learners: select just one face of the cube for each short activity, then invite your child to move around and choose the next side. Autistic children: keep the order of favourite activities predictable, offer visual choices and allow self-paced sensory interaction. Developmental delay or intellectual disability: demonstrate one movement at a time; pair each motion with a simple word such as “up,” “down,” “turn” or “stop.” Fine-motor play: encourage grasping, sliding, reaching, rotating and bilateral hand use at a comfortable pace.
