Kinmilo Together Time: A Parent–Child Play Plan
Play Together. Grow Together. Share the experience at your child’s pace; no correct speed or spoken response is required.
Connect & demonstrate
Start with one familiar number such as 1 or 2. Point to the numeral and count the pictured animals together: “One giraffe. Can you show me one?”
Share the play
Lay out two cards and let the child choose one. Take turns finding the matching section, counting animals, or saying or gesturing the number.
Grow together
Build a number line, compare more and less, or invite the child to select a card to match a small set of household items.
Inclusive ways to adapt the activity
For ADHD or high activity levels
Start with two cards and short rounds, then move or stretch before introducing more numbers.
For autistic children (ASD)
Use a repeatable matching routine and the same prompt each time; move from familiar animal pictures to less familiar ones.
For developmental delay, intellectual disability or motor differences
Match identical pictures before introducing printed digits. Count together by tapping each pictured object.
For children who use AAC, gestures or non-spoken communication
Use fingers, number cards, choice boards or a speech device; spoken answers are never required.
Family tips and safety
Use on a clear flat surface with supervision. Keep loose puzzle pieces away from children who mouth small objects.
Product compliance: CPC and CE testing/certification documentation is available for this product. Always follow the age guidance on product packaging. Activities provide opportunities for exploration and shared learning; they are not medical treatments or guaranteed therapeutic outcomes.
