Build a love of numbers through hands-on play
This colourful wooden learning board combines inset numbers 1–9, geometric shapes, early maths symbols and graduated stacking pieces on one activity base. Children can explore matching, counting, sorting and hand-eye coordination while sharing a meaningful routine with a parent or caregiver.

Kinmilo Together Time: A Parent–Child Play Plan
1. Connect & demonstrate
Sit beside your child, point to a single number and say, “This is three. Let's find three together.” Place it into the matching recess slowly. Let your child watch, touch or imitate without pressure.
2. Share the play
Take turns finding a colour, choosing a shape or stacking the next ring. Use simple phrases such as “My turn—your turn” and “One, two, three.” Accept pointing, showing, signing, AAC picture cards or spoken words as participation.
3. Grow together
Progress from two-piece matching to shape sorting, sequencing 1–9, counting pegs, comparing quantities and simple make-believe addition. Celebrate effort and allow time to reset the pieces.
Adapt the activity to your child
ADHD or high activity: offer 2–3 pieces at once, use one-minute challenges with movement breaks, and keep instructions short. Autism / ASD: use a consistent first–then play routine, show one worked example and let the child choose a preferred colour. Developmental, language or intellectual disabilities: begin with one familiar shape, provide hand-over-hand assistance only when welcomed, and use gestures or AAC for requests like “more,” “again” and “finished.”
