Kinmilo Wooden Picture Memory Game | 16-Peg Flip & Match Board with Themed Cards
A reusable wooden memory board with 16 lift-off circular knobs that conceal small pictures, alongside themed illustrated activity cards. Children reveal one picture at a time, remember its place and work together to find a match.
What children can explore
Hands-on visual attention, shape or number recognition, shared problem-solving, fine-motor coordination and opportunities for parent–child communication. Activities are educational play opportunities, not medical treatment.
Kinmilo Together Time: A Parent–Child Play Plan
Play Together. Grow Together.
1. Connect & Demonstrate
Cover just four spaces and reveal one piece slowly. Say, “Look! A car. Let’s see what is underneath this one.”
2. Share the Play
Alternate who lifts a knob, then ask the child to point to where a matching picture might be. Celebrate noticing and remembering, not speed.
3. Grow Together
Increase the number of covered spaces gradually, swap in another illustrated theme and practise recalling two or three locations.
Adapting Play for Different Learning Needs
For ADHD, use a short four-space round with a clear start and finish. For autistic learners, allow the same picture layout to be repeated before introducing new cards. For developmental or intellectual disabilities, leave two familiar images uncovered and guide matching through gestures. Offer AAC options such as “same”, “different”, “my turn” and “again”.
Product Options & What's Included
16-knob picture reveal board and illustrated theme cards are shown; precise card quantity depends on the set contents.
Montessori & Waldorf Inspired Play: FAQ
Is this Montessori or Waldorf material? It can support Montessori-inspired hands-on exploration and Waldorf-style imaginative play at home; it is not an endorsement by either educational organisation.
Can children with ADHD, autism or developmental disabilities enjoy it? Yes, many families can adapt the activity to individual preferences, strengths and support needs. Caregiver modelling and choice-making are key. No diagnosis-specific outcome is guaranteed.
Can non-speaking children join? Absolutely. Use pointing, gestures, photos, signs or an AAC system to choose and take turns.
Safety and testing: Adult supervision is recommended; inspect all pieces before use, particularly for children who mouth objects. Keep small pieces and cords away from unsupervised young children. Kinmilo states that product-specific CPC and CE testing documentation is available; request the applicable certificate and age recommendation before purchase if required.
