Kinmilo Together Time: A Parent–Child Play Plan
Play Together. Grow Together. Adapt the activity to your child's pace, preferences and communication style.
1. Connect & Demonstrate
Place one ball into a cup and say, ‘One ball. Your turn.’ Point to the matching 1 card and let your child copy.
2. Share the Play
Take turns choosing a number card and putting the matching quantity of balls into a bowl. Offer two choices: ‘Two or three?’ and accept pointing, eye gaze, gesture or a spoken answer.
3. Grow Together
Invite your child to make two colour groups, compare more and fewer, then use the number and operator pieces for simple addition stories.
Inclusive play adaptations
For ADHD or high activity levels, offer a three-card mini-round and a movement break. For autistic children, keep bowl colours and card order predictable and demonstrate once before inviting a turn. For developmental, intellectual or language differences, start with one colour and quantities 1–2; use AAC, pointing or hand gestures instead of requiring speech.
Communication tip: Accept spoken words, signs, pointing, picture cards and AAC. Celebrate participation rather than correctness. Do not force eye contact or physical contact.
Safety & compliance
Contains loose small parts. Use close adult supervision and follow the age guidance on the product packaging.
CPC & CE: Kinmilo states this product is supported by CPC and CE compliance documentation. Documents are available upon request. Specific age suitability and included components should be checked against the selected package.
