Kinmilo Together Time: A Parent–Child Play Plan
Play Together. Grow Together. Follow your child's lead with brief, enjoyable play sessions.
Level 1 — Connect & Demonstrate
Hold the ball where your baby can see it and say: “Look, a bright animal! Feel the soft side.” Gently model touching just one fabric; give your child time to reach or look.
Level 2 — Share the Play
Take turns patting or gently rolling the ball between you. Offer a simple choice: “Soft side or bumpy side?” Accept looking, pointing, reaching, vocalizing or AAC as a response.
Level 3 — Grow Together
Invite your child to find an animal, compare two textures or imitate a simple action (“touch, squeeze, roll”). For older children, pair pictures or sounds with the textured sections.
Adjust the Play for Different Learners
For sensory-sensitive children, start with one familiar texture without forcing contact. For ADHD or very active learners, alternate a quick touch with a movement break. For autistic children, use the same predictable “look–touch–finish” routine. For motor or language differences, position the ball within reach and offer gestures or AAC.
