Wooden Magnetic Fishing Alphabet & Numbers Puzzle | Letter-Sound Matching
A colourful wooden board with removable fish-shaped pieces printed with letters and numbers, for matching, sequencing and pretend fishing activities.
What families can practise
alphabet and number recognition, visual discrimination, letter sounds, turn taking and hand–eye coordination. These are supported play opportunities, not guaranteed developmental or medical outcomes.
Kinmilo Together Time: A Parent–Child Play Plan
Play Together. Grow Together. Adapt the activity to your child's pace, preferences and communication style.
1. Connect & Demonstrate
Pick one colourful fish, point to its letter or number and name it. Say, ‘I found B. Can you find B?’
2. Share the Play
Take turns finding two fish on the board. Pair a letter with a familiar word or match a number with that many taps on the table.
3. Grow Together
Play a parent–child fishing shop: the child chooses a fish, places it in the correct outline and describes the colour, letter or number with words, gesture or AAC.
Inclusive play adaptations
For ADHD, cover part of the board and play in short rounds. For ASD, make the sequence ‘choose–match–finish’ consistent. For developmental, intellectual or communication differences, start with two fish and use the same two letters repeatedly before adding more.
Communication tip: Accept spoken words, signs, pointing, picture cards and AAC. Celebrate participation rather than correctness. Do not force eye contact or physical contact.
Safety & compliance
Check magnetic parts are secure before play, keep away from children who mouth or swallow small parts, and supervise at all times.
CPC & CE: Kinmilo states this product is supported by CPC and CE compliance documentation. Documents are available upon request. Specific age suitability and included components should be checked against the selected package.
